In Saturday's league outing, the Smithson Valley Rangers (Spring Branch, TX) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX), by a margin of 58-37.

The Rangers (7-7) will now prepare for their outing against East Central (San Antonio, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league outing with a 16-8 record.
