The Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX), 53-31 in Tuesday's league test.

The Cougars (10-12) will now prepare for their test against Wagner (San Antonio, TX). The Thunderbirds go into the 5A Region IV District 26 test with a 16-5 record. In their last test, Wagner walloped Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX), 74-23, in a league test.
