The Illinois Valley Central Grey Ghosts basketball team scored 19 points and restricted the visiting Tolono Unity Rockets to 18 in the Grey Ghosts league victory on Thursday.

The Grey Ghosts now sport a 12-13 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Maroa-Forsyth for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 29. Illinois Valley Central will battle a Trojans team coming off a 60-30 league loss to Williamsville (Williamsville, IL). The Trojans record now stands at 10-15.

The Rockets (20-6) will now prepare for their contest against PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central (Petersburg, IL). The Bluejays come into the non-league contest with a 18-5 record. In their last contest, PORTA/Ashland-Chandlerville Central was nudged by Central/Southeastern (Camp Point, IL), 53-23, in a non-league contest.
