January 27, 2023: St. James, LA 70090 The St. James Wildcats (St. James, LA) basketball crushed the visiting Berwick Panthers (Berwick, LA), 84-54 in Friday's league test.
The Wildcats (5-4) will now prepare for their test against Donaldsonville (Donaldsonville, LA). The Tigers go into the 3A District 8 test with a 12-10 record. In their last test, Donaldsonville was trounced by Patterson (Patterson, LA), 48-46, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Patterson for a 3A District 8 test on Tuesday, January 31. Berwick will encounter a Lumberjacks squad coming off a 48-46 league win over Donaldsonville (Donaldsonville, LA). The Lumberjacks record now stands at 12-6.
