Louisiana High School Basketball - Berwick can't hold off St. James
February 14, 2023: Berwick, LA 70342 The St. James Wildcats basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the host Berwick Panthers to 54 in the Wildcats league victory on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 6-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westlake for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 16. St. James will battle a Rams team coming off a 55-46 league win over South Beauregard (Longville, LA). The Rams record now stands at 8-11.
The Panthers (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Patterson (Patterson, LA). The Lumberjacks come into the 3A District 8 contest with a 19-4 record. In their last contest, Patterson edged Bourgeois (Gray, LA), 60-48, in a non-league contest.
