Central Rockets (Burlington, IL) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Crystal Lake Central Tigers (Crystal Lake, IL), 70-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Central upgrades its record to 21-4 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL) to play the Wolves in a Fox Valley bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Wolves come into the bout with a record of 10-11. Prairie Ridge won 66-53 in their recent league bout against Crystal Lake South (Crystal Lake, IL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Crystal Lake Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-19 season record. The Blue Streaks come into the bout with a 9-13 record after their 46-34 league loss to Richmond-Burton (Richmond, IL).
