The Concord Yellowjackets basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Union City Chargers to 59 in the Yellowjackets league triumph on Friday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bronson for a Big 8 contest on Friday, February 3.

The Chargers (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Maple Valley (Vermontville, MI). The Lions enter the non-league contest with a 4-8 record. In their last contest, Maple Valley was defeated by Lansing Christian (Lansing, MI), 54-47, in a league contest.
