Georgia High School Basketball - First Preparatory Christian Academy can't hold off Memorial Day
January 27, 2023: Savannah, GA 31405 The First Preparatory Christian Academy Highlanders basketball team (Hinesville, GA), was nudged 62-60 in Friday's league battle with the host Memorial Day Matadors (Savannah, GA)
The Matadors now possess a 14-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Faith Baptist Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 31. Memorial Day will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 59-32 non-league win over Lighthouse Christian (Valdosta, GA). The Crusaders record now stands at 20-8.
The Highlanders (11-6) will now prepare for their battle against Twiggs Academy (Jeffersonville, GA). The Trojans come into the GIAA A Region 6 battle with a 3-14 record.
