North Carolina High School Basketball - North Henderson holds off Franklin

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the North Henderson Knights (Hendersonville, NC) and the visiting Franklin Panthers (Franklin, NC), saw North Henderson's basketball squad hold off Franklin by a tally of 69-62.

With the victory, North Henderson improves its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Knights travel to East Henderson (East Flat Rock, NC) to confront the Eagles in a 3A Conference 54 challenge on Tuesday, January 31. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 9-12. East Henderson won 81-41 in their recent league challenge against Tuscola (Waynesville, NC)

Next up, the Panthers confront the Smoky Mountain Mustangs (Sylva, NC) in a 3A Conference 54 challenge, on Tuesday, January 31. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 18-3 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 7-13 record after their 75-48 non-league win over Erwin (Asheville, NC).
