The Leggett Pirates (Leggett, TX) basketball knocked off the host High Island Cardinals (High Island, TX), 75-55 in Friday's league test.

The Pirates (12-13) will now prepare for their test against Goodrich (Goodrich, TX). The Hornets go into the 1A Region IV District 28 test with a 1-23 record. In their last test, Goodrich went down by Chester (Chester, TX), 36-23, in a league test.
