North Carolina High School Basketball - South Point fells Huss

January 27, 2023: Gastonia, NC 28052

South Point Red Raiders (Belmont, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC), 52-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South Point upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Red Raiders travel to Crest (Shelby, NC) to play the Chargers in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 15-0. Crest won 86-44 in their recent non-league bout against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC)

Next up, the Huskies play the Stuart W. Cramer Storm (Belmont, NC) in a bout, on Tuesday, January 31. Huss will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Storm go into the bout with a 6-8 record after their 86-44 non-league loss to Crest (Shelby, NC).
