The Ashbrook Greenwave basketball team scored 40 points and held the host South Point Red Raiders to 28 in the Greenwave non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Greenwave now sport a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huss for a contest on Friday, February 10. Ashbrook will battle a Huskies team coming off a 59-47 league win over North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 14-6.

The Red Raiders (5-9) will now prepare for their contest against North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-15 record. In their last contest, North Gaston was defeated by Huss (Gastonia, NC), 59-47, in a league contest.
