In Friday's non-league outing, the Crest Chargers (Shelby, NC) basketball squad edged the visiting Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC), by a count of 47-43.

The Chargers (4-0) will now prepare for their outing against Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC). The Storm go into the non-league outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Stuart W. Cramer was tipped by South Point (Belmont, NC), 44-43, in a non-league outing.

The Greenwave now hold a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Forestview for a outing on Tuesday, December 20. Ashbrook will clash with a Jaguars squad coming off a 60-25 non-league win over North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 4-2.
