January 27, 2023: Susanville, CA 96130 The Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA) basketball nipped the host Lassen Grizzlies (Susanville, CA), 61-59 in Friday's league test.
The Miners (10-3) will now prepare for their test against University Prep (Redding, CA). The Panthers go into the test with a 12-9 record. In their last test, University Prep got by Central Valley (Shasta Lake, CA), 47-29, in a league test.
The Grizzlies now own a 13-5 record. They play next when they host Anderson for a test on Monday, January 30. Lassen will encounter a Cubs squad coming off a 51-50 league loss to West Valley (Cottonwood, CA). The Cubs record now stands at 15-6.
