California High School Basketball - West Valley tipped by Yreka
February 8, 2023: Cottonwood, CA 96022 The Yreka Miners basketball team scored 62 points and held the host West Valley Eagles to 56 in the Miners league triumph on Wednesday.
The Miners now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central Valley for a contest on Friday, February 10. Yreka will meet a Falcons team coming off a 43-29 league loss to Anderson (Anderson, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 5-17.
The Eagles (8-16) will now prepare for their contest against Lassen (Susanville, CA). The Grizzlies enter the contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, Lassen was nudged by University Prep (Redding, CA), 49-47, in a league contest.
