Missouri High School Basketball - Branson holds off West Plains
January 27, 2024: West Plains, MO 65775 Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Branson Pirates (Branson, MO) and the host West Plains Zizzers (West Plains, MO), saw Branson's basketball squad hold off West Plains by a tally of 76-72.
With the victory, Branson improves its record to 5-7 on the campaign. The Pirates host Republic (Republic, MO) to confront the Tigers in a Central Ozarks challenge on Tuesday, January 30. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 10-5. Republic won 55-24 in their recent non-league challenge against Camdenton (Camdenton, MO)
Next up, the Zizzers confront the Lebanon Yellowjackets (Lebanon, MO) in a Ozarks challenge, on Tuesday, January 30. West Plains will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 72-39 non-league win over St. James (St. James, MO).
