The Catholic Central Crusaders basketball team (Steubenville, OH), dropped 45-35 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Frontier Cougars (New Matamoras, OH)

The Cougars now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to River for a Mid-Ohio Valley battle on Monday, January 29. Frontier will battle a Pilots team coming off a 69-57 league win over Barnesville (Barnesville, OH). The Pilots record now stands at 14-3.

The Crusaders (9-9) will now prepare for their battle against Monroe Central (Woodsfield, OH). The Seminoles come into the non-league battle with a 15-4 record. In their last battle, Monroe Central dropped by Union Local (Belmont, OH), 37-35, in a non-league battle.
