The crowd at Monday's league challenge between the Buford Wolves (Buford, GA) and the visiting Central Gwinnett Black Knights (Lawrenceville, GA), observed Buford's basketball team overcome Central Gwinnett by a score of 63-51.

The Wolves (18-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Mill Creek (Hoschton, GA). The Hawks come into the AAAAAA Region 8 challenge with a 15-7 record. In their last challenge, Mill Creek defeated Dacula (Dacula, GA), 56-54, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Black Knights battle the Collins Hill Eagles (Suwanee, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 8 challenge, on Wednesday, January 29. Central Gwinnett will attempt to improve on its 13-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 12-10 record after their 51-49 league win over Mountain View (Lawrenceville, GA).
