North Carolina High School Basketball - Triton victorious over Westover

In Tuesday's league contest, the host Triton Hawks basketball squad scored a nice 71-61 victory over the Westover Wolverines.

With the victory, Triton advances its record to 11-8 on the year. The Hawks travel to Western Harnett (Lillington, NC) to meet the Eagles in a 3A/4A All-American battle on Friday, January 31. The Eagles enter the battle with a record of 0-18. Western Harnett lost 78-40 in their recent league battle against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC)

The Wolverines now own a 11-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Overhills for a 3A/4A All-American battle on Friday, January 31. Westover will meet a Jaguars squad coming off a 65-18 league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Jaguars record now stands at 12-6.
