North Carolina High School Basketball - Triton triumphant over Western Harnett

Spectators at Friday's league game between the Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) and the visiting Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC), saw Triton's basketball team bounce Western Harnett by a tally of 76-30.

The Hawks now possess a 8-6 record. They play next when they travel to Pine Forest for a 3A/4A All-American game on Tuesday, January 7. Triton will play a Trojans team coming off a 63-48 non-league loss to Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Western Harnett falls to 0-12 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to E.E. Smith (Fayetteville, NC) to play the Golden Bulls in a 3A/4A All-American game on Tuesday, January 7. The Golden Bulls go into the game with a record of 6-4. E.E. Smith won 61-58 in their recent non-league game against Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC)
