North Carolina High School Basketball - Overhills toppled by Triton

February 7, 2025: Erwin, NC 28339

Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC), 45-37 in a league match.

With the victory, Triton advances its record to 15-8 on the year. The Hawks host Harnett Central (Angier, NC) to face the Trojans in a 3A/4A All-American match on Tuesday, February 11. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 10-11. Harnett Central lost 55-54 in their recent league match against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC)

The Jaguars now own a 13-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pine Forest for a 3A/4A All-American match on Tuesday, February 11. Overhills will face a Trojans squad coming off a 55-54 league win over Harnett Central (Angier, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 13-9.
