North Carolina High School Basketball - River Mill knocked off by Triangle Math & Science

January 28, 2025: Graham, NC 27253

In Tuesday's league test, the Triangle Math & Science Tigers (Apex, NC) basketball squad knocked off the host River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC), by a score of 40-21.

Next, the Tigers encounter the Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC) in a 1A Central Tar Heel test, on Thursday, January 30. Triangle Math & Science will attempt to improve on its 10-7 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 10-12 record after their 56-26 league win over Ascend Leadership (Sanford, NC).

With the loss, River Mill falls to 3-17 on the campaign. The Jaguars travel to Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC) to confront the Lions in a 1A Central Tar Heel game on Thursday, January 30. The Lions go into the game with a record of 3-8. Southern Wake Academy lost 29-23 in their recent league game against Clover Garden School (Burlington, NC)
