In Friday's league test, the Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC) basketball squad knocked off the visiting River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC), by a score of 44-29.

Next, the Wolves encounter the Chatham Charter Knights (Siler City, NC) in a 1A Central Tar Heel test, on Monday, January 27. Woods Charter will attempt to improve on its 6-5 season record. The Knights come into the test with a 8-12 record after their 46-5 league win over River Mill (Graham, NC).

The Jaguars (3-16) will now prepare for their test against Triangle Math & Science (Apex, NC). The Tigers come into the 1A Central Tar Heel test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Triangle Math & Science beat Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC), 44-37, in a league test.
