The Woods Charter Wolves were victorious over the host Ascend Leadership Aviators basketball squad by a final score of 42-32 in Tuesday's league outing.

Next, the Wolves face the Triangle Math & Science Tigers (Apex, NC) in a 1A Central Tar Heel outing, on Friday, February 7. Woods Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 11-8 record after their 26-22 non-league loss to Eno River Academy (Hillsborough, NC).

The Aviators (2-16) will now prepare for their outing against American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league outing with a 0-15 record. In their last outing, American Leadership Academy-Johnston was dropped by St. Mary's (Raleigh, NC), 65-7, in a non-league outing.
