North Carolina High School Basketball - River Mill held off by Ascend Leadership

February 7, 2025: Graham, NC 27253

In Friday's league test, the Ascend Leadership Aviators (Sanford, NC) basketball squad got by the host River Mill Jaguars (Graham, NC), by a score of 31-26.

Next, the Aviators encounter the Triangle Math & Science Tigers (Apex, NC) in a 1A Central Tar Heel test, on Tuesday, February 11. Ascend Leadership will attempt to improve on its 3-17 season record.

The Jaguars (3-21) will now prepare for their test against Chatham Charter (Siler City, NC). The Knights come into the 1A Central Tar Heel test with a 11-14 record. In their last test, Chatham Charter held off Southern Wake Academy (Holly Springs, NC), 36-29, in a league test.
