Arizona High School Basketball - Marcos de Niza ripped by Saguaro

The Saguaro Sabercats basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Marcos de Niza Padres to 37 in the Sabercats league triumph on Monday.

The Sabercats now sport a 8-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Havasu for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 30. Saguaro will meet a Knights team coming off a 82-42 league loss to Desert Edge (Goodyear, AZ). The Knights record now stands at 0-16.

The Padres (7-17) will now prepare for their contest against Mesquite (Gilbert, AZ). The Wildcats enter the 4A Desert Sky contest with a 19-5 record. In their last contest, Mesquite triumphed over Arcadia (Phoenix, AZ), 71-32, in a league contest.
