In Tuesday's league outing, the Lewis County Minutemen (Weston, WV) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), by a count of 62-38.

The Minutemen (4-3) will now prepare for their outing against Lincoln (Shinnston, WV). The Cougars go into the Big Ten outing with a 5-3 record. In their last outing, Lincoln was crushed by Elkins (Elkins, WV), 52-42, in a league outing.

The Knights now hold a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Bridgeport for a Big Ten outing on Thursday, January 5. Preston will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 54-35 league win over Liberty (Clarksburg, WV). The Indians record now stands at 4-3.
