The Buckhannon-Upshur Buccaneers topped the host Preston Knights basketball team by a final score of 52-42 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Buccaneers face the Spring Mills Cardinals (Martinsburg, WV) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 17. Buckhannon-Upshur will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Cardinals enter the game with a 3-1 record after their 68-58 non-league loss to Parkersburg South (Parkersburg, WV).
