Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Preston Knights (Kingwood, WV), 60-33 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lincoln upgrades its record to 9-12 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Philip Barbour (Philippi, WV) to play the Colts in a Big Ten bout on Tuesday, February 21. The Colts come into the bout with a record of 10-10.

Next up, the Knights play the Musselman Applemen (Inwood, WV) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 22. Preston will attempt to upgrade on its 1-20 season record.
