Hampshire Trojans (Romney, WV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lincoln Cougars (Shinnston, WV), 61-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Hampshire upgrades its record to 11-8 on the season. The Trojans travel to Jefferson (Shenandoah Junction, WV) to play the Cougars in a Eastern Panhandle bout on Wednesday, February 15. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 11-6.

Next up, the Cougars play the Liberty Mountaineers (Clarksburg, WV) in a Big Ten bout, on Thursday, February 16. Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record.
