West Virginia High School Basketball - Grafton succumbs to Hampshire
December 27, 2022: Romney, WV 26757 The Hampshire Trojans topped the visiting Grafton Bearcats basketball team by a final score of 67-50 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Trojans face the Brooke Bruins (Wellsburg, WV) in a non-league game, on Thursday, December 29. Hampshire will attempt to move on its 3-3 season record. The Bruins enter the game with a 3-1 record after their 66-47 non-league win over Catholic Central (Steubenville, OH).
With the defeat, Grafton moves to 3-3 on the year. The Bearcats host Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV) to face the Buccaneers in a Big Ten game on Thursday, January 5. The Buccaneers enter the game with a record of 3-4.
