Arkansas High School Basketball - Tuckerman thwarts Walnut Ridge
January 3, 2023: Tuckerman, AR 72473 The Tuckerman Bulldogs (Tuckerman, AR) basketball knocked off the visiting Walnut Ridge Bobcats (Walnut Ridge, AR), 67-54 in Tuesday's league test.
The Bulldogs (8-7) will now prepare for their test against Newport (Newport, AR). The Greyhounds go into the 3A Region 2 test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Newport notched a victory over Salem (Salem, AR), 64-44, in a league test.
The Bobcats now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to East Poinsett County for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 4. Walnut Ridge will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 74-47 non-league win over Trumann (Trumann, AR). The Warriors record now stands at 4-8.
