January 3, 2025: Beaver Falls, PA 15010 The Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA) basketball crushed the host Blackhawk Cougars (Beaver Falls, PA), 79-36 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Tigers now possess a 9-2 record. They play next when they host Mars for a WPIAL 5A 4 bout on Tuesday, January 7. Moon Area will play a Fightin' Planets team coming off a 83-55 non-league win over North Hills (Pittsburgh, PA). The Fightin' Planets record now stands at 6-3.
