Texas High School Basketball - Braswell thwarts Coppell
January 3, 2025: Coppell, TX 75019 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Braswell Bengals (Little Elm, TX) and the host Coppell Cowboys (Coppell, TX), observed Braswell's basketball team knock off Coppell by a score of 73-53.
The Bengals (17-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Hebron (Carrollton, TX). The Hawks come into the 6A Region I District 5 challenge with a 11-8 record. In their last challenge, Hebron prevailed over Lewisville (Lewisville, TX), 67-56, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Cowboys encounter the Flower Mound Jaguars (Flower Mound, TX) in a 6A Region I District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 7. Coppell will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record. The Jaguars come into the challenge with a 9-11 record after their 63-48 league loss to Marcus (Flower Mound, TX).
