North Carolina High School Basketball - Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy knocks off Highland Tech
January 3, 2025: Mooresboro, NC 28114 The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) and the visiting Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC), observed Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy's basketball team overcome Highland Tech by a margin of 51-35.
The Gryphons (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Burns (Lawndale, NC). The Bulldogs come into the 1A/2A Southern Piedmont challenge with a 8-4 record. In their last challenge, Burns defeated Cherryville (Cherryville, NC), 70-33, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Rams battle the Langtree Charter Academy Lions (Mooresville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, January 8. Highland Tech will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record.
