The Highland Tech Rams defeated the host East Gaston Warriors basketball squad by a final score of 59-49 in Saturday's non-league outing.

Next, the Rams clash with the Thomas Jefferson Classical Academy Gryphons (Mooresboro, NC) in a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont outing, on Friday, January 3. Highland Tech will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Gryphons come into the outing with a 7-1 record after their 76-59 league loss to Bessemer City (Bessemer City, NC).
