In Friday's league test, the Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) basketball squad trounced the host Cherryville Ironmen (Cherryville, NC), by a score of 56-30.

Next, the Rams encounter the Bessemer City Yellow Jackets (Bessemer City, NC) in a 1A/2A Southern Piedmont test, on Wednesday, February 12. Highland Tech will attempt to improve on its 10-11 season record.
