Michigan High School Basketball - Bronson can't hold off Concord

Concord Yellowjackets (Concord, MI) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Bronson Vikings (Bronson, MI), 49-46 in a league match.

With the victory, Concord advances its record to 5-3 on the year. The Yellowjackets travel to Columbia Central (Brooklyn, MI) to face the Golden Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, January 4. The Golden Eagles enter the match with a record of 4-3. Columbia Central won 56-46 in their recent non-league match against Pioneer (Ann Arbor, MI)

The Vikings now own a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Quincy for a Big 8 match on Tuesday, January 7. Bronson will face a Orioles squad coming off a 48-38 league loss to Reading (Reading, MI). The Orioles record now stands at 3-3.
