In Friday's league contest, the visiting Concord Yellowjackets basketball team scored a big 70-39 win over the Springport Spartans.

The Yellowjackets (9-2) will now prepare for their contest against Union City (Union City, MI). The Chargers come into the Big 8 contest with a 5-6 record.

In their next game, the Spartans battle the Quincy Orioles (Quincy, MI) in a Big 8 contest, on Tuesday, January 21. Springport will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record.
