Maine High School Basketball - Dexter winner over Penobscot Valley
January 30, 2023: Howland, ME 04448 The Dexter Tigers (Dexter, ME) basketball felled the host Penobscot Valley Howlers (Howland, ME), 55-43 in Monday's league test.
The Tigers (14-1) will now prepare for their test against Piscataquis (Guilford, ME). The Pirates go into the C North test with a 5-9 record. In their last test, Piscataquis was beaten by Central (East Corinth, ME), 74-68, in a league test.
The Howlers now own a 8-7 record. They play next when they travel to Schenck for a non-league test on Wednesday, February 1. Penobscot Valley will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 55-42 non-league loss to Penquis Valley (Milo, ME). The Wolverines record now stands at 9-8.
