Maine High School Basketball - Dexter trounces Piscataquis
January 27, 2023: Guilford, ME 04443 The Dexter Tigers (Dexter, ME) basketball crushed the host Piscataquis Pirates (Guilford, ME), 69-42 in Friday's league test.
The Tigers (13-1) will now prepare for their test against Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME). The Howlers go into the C North test with a 8-6 record. In their last test, Penobscot Valley walloped Lee Academy (Lee, ME), 54-40, in a league test.
The Pirates now own a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Central for a C North test on Monday, January 30. Piscataquis will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 59-48 league loss to Stearns (Millinocket, ME). The Red Devils record now stands at 4-11.
