The Mountain Ridge Miners ran past the visiting Northern Huskies basketball team by a final score of 46-33 in Monday's league game.

In their next game, the Miners face the Clear Spring Blazers (Clear Spring, MD) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 31. Mountain Ridge will attempt to move on its 11-4 season record.

With the defeat, Northern moves to 8-8 on the year. The Huskies host Rockwood (Rockwood, PA) to face the Rockets in a non-league game on Thursday, February 2. The Rockets enter the game with a record of 3-12. Rockwood lost 54-51 in their recent league game against Shade (Cairnbrook, PA)
