The Southern Rams tipped the visiting Mountain Ridge Miners basketball team by a final score of 30-29 in Monday's league game.

In their next game, the Rams face the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) in a non-league game, on Wednesday, February 15. Southern will attempt to move on its 8-5 season record. The Polar Bears enter the game with a 5-13 record after their 47-40 non-league loss to Keyser (Keyser, WV).
