Missouri High School Basketball - Wheaton overwhelmed by Blue Eye
January 30, 2024: Blue Eye, MO 65611 The Blue Eye Bulldogs basketball team scored 57 points and restricted the visiting Wheaton Bulldogs to 32 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 14-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Spokane for a Southwest Central contest on Friday, February 2. Blue Eye will battle a Owls team coming off a 54-51 league loss to Billings (Billings, MO). The Owls record now stands at 6-16.
The Bulldogs (12-6) will now prepare for their contest against Pierce City (Pierce City, MO). The Eagles come into the non-league contest with a 6-10 record. In their last contest, Pierce City was routed by Marionville (Marionville, MO), 58-49, in a league contest.
