Virginia High School Basketball - Lancaster fells Westmoreland
January 30, 2024: Lancaster, VA 22503 Lancaster Red Devils (Lancaster, VA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Westmoreland Eagles (Montross, VA), 58-41 in a league bout.
With the win, Lancaster upgrades its record to 15-2 on the season. The Red Devils host Rappahannock (Warsaw, VA) to play the Raiders in a Northern Neck bout on Friday, February 2. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-12. Rappahannock lost 61-24 in their recent league bout against Westmoreland (Montross, VA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Rappahannock Raiders (Warsaw, VA) in a Northern Neck bout, on Wednesday, January 31. Westmoreland will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record. The Raiders go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 51-45 league loss to Colonial Beach (Colonial Beach, VA).
