Ambassador Christian School Lions (Huntersville, NC) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Victory Christian Center Kings (Charlotte, NC), 56-49 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Ambassador Christian School advances its record to 16-4 on the year. The Lions host Davidson Day (Davidson, NC) to face the Patriots in a non-league match on Friday, January 31. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 19-12. Davidson Day won 107-30 in their recent non-league match against Socrates Academy (Matthews, NC)

The Kings now own a 16-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host North Hills Christian for a NCISAA Southern Piedmont match on Friday, January 31. Victory Christian Center will face a Eagles squad coming off a 85-50 non-league win over Sheets Memorial Christian (Lexington, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 7-13.
