Northwestern Wildcats (Albion, PA) supporters left the game satisfied Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Girard Yellowjackets (Girard, PA), 53-22 in a league match.

With the victory, Northwestern advances its record to 18-0 on the year. The Wildcats host Eisenhower (Russell, PA) to face the Knights in a District 10 Region 3 match on Monday, February 3. The Knights enter the match with a record of 14-3.

The Yellowjackets now own a 2-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Meadville for a non-league match on Saturday, February 1.
