January 30, 2026: Oneonta, AL 35121 Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Coosa Christian Conquerors (Gadsden, AL), 47-37 in a league match.
With the victory, Appalachian advances its record to 19-8 on the year. The Eagles host Vinemont (Vinemont, AL) to face the Eagles in a non-league contest on Monday, February 2. The Eagles go into the contest with a record of 16-11. Vinemont lost 53-47 in their recent non-league contest against East Lawrence (Trinity, AL)
In their next game, the Conquerors battle the Southeastern Mustangs (Remlap, AL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 2. Coosa Christian will attempt to better on its 11-8 season record. The Mustangs go into the contest with a 8-12 record after their 62-46 non-league loss to Westbrook Christian (Rainbow City, AL).
