Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Victory Christian Lions (Pell City, AL), 66-47 in a league contest.

The Eagles (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Southeastern (Remlap, AL). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Southeastern toppled West End (Walnut Grove, AL), 58-54, in a league game.

With the loss, Victory Christian falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Holy Family Catholic (Birmingham, AL) to confront the Tornadoes in a non-league game on Monday, January 12. The Tornadoes go into the game with a record of 1-5.
