In Tuesday's league bout, the Appalachian Eagles (Oneonta, AL) basketball team crushed the visiting Ragland Purple Devils (Ragland, AL), by a tally of 66-41.

The Eagles now possess a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Susan Moore for a non-league bout on Friday, December 12. Appalachian will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 63-50 league win over Cleveland (Cleveland, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-4.

With the loss, Ragland falls to 0-8 on the campaign. The Purple devils host Victory Christian (Pell City, AL) to play the Lions in a 1A Area 11 test on Thursday, December 11.
